The winner of this years' VQ/YEP Valentines Competition was Emily Fraser from Leeds, who collected nearly £2,000 in the prizes from stores in the centre.
Emily, 20, is in her second year studying Psychology at Leeds University and wants to do a further Masters in Consumer Psychology. She is also something of a serial competition enterer, entering up to 50 a week, and winning about three per month on average.
“ I rarely win anything as big as this though,” she says. “ It's a fantastic prize – I won't know what to do with it all! It'll certainly be a Valentine's Day to remember though!”
The haul of prizes consisted of 9ct gold Bitten Apple pendant and chain from Azendi, beauty and perfume hamper and dinner for two from Harvey Nichols, cut & colour, eyebrow threading and nail treatments from Nicky Clarke Salon, £200 of VQ shopping vouchers, charm bracelet and charms from Thomas Sabo, a Girth bag from Church's Shoes, Pianegonda Heart Earrings from Phillip Stoner Jewellery, Heart pendant and bracelet from Folli Follie, Molton Brown gift set, Hot Diamond earrings from Cadeaux and Pink Champagne truffles and a ¼ bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne from Charbonnel et Walker.
