James Macintyre & Co Celebrate 15 Years at VQ on Saturday 17th July 6.30-9.30pm
James Macintyre and Co are celebrating 15 years at Leeds’ prestigious Victoria Quarter with a very special launch, and an amazing tribute to the VQ.
The flagship retailer for Moorcroft Art Pottery, are to host a celebratory evening party on Saturday 17th July. James Macintyre & Co will be celebrating their anniversary at the VQ and the success of the great 'Moorcroft' and 'Macintyre' collaboration, and also launching exciting and brand new designs by leading artists at Moorcroft, who have created pieces inspired by the magnificent Victoria Quarter and the VQ’s Macintyre store.
World-class designer, Paul Hilditch's plaque is the lead piece in Macintyre’s 15th Anniversary Collection. The stunning work quite literally captures Moorcroft’s art pottery flowing out of James Macintyre’s VQ store. This limited edition of only 15 measures 26cmsx36cms (including frame) and costs £1,220.
James Macintyre & Co are inviting customers to join them at their VQ store in the handsome setting of Frank Matcham’s Victorian County Arcade to be part of the unveiling of a wealth of stunning Moorcroft designs. To mark this momentous occasion six of Moorcroft’s leading designers have secretly created a very special collection of eight new pieces that will be launched on the evening.
Collectors who are lucky enough to secure a ticket for the event will have the first chance to view and purchase these very special designs.
The Event

Reception - sparkling wine will be served and the James Macintyre & Co store will be open for viewing and to purchase from the Collection
Sumptuous buffet with wine created by celebrity chef Anthony Flinn

Elise Adams, Managing Director of Moorcroft, talk in the Victorian arcade, taking an historical look at the early years of James Macintyre & Co and Moorcroft, through to more recent times
Leading Moorcroft designer, Emma Bossons FRSA, will also be present, to sign all Moorcroft purchases made on the evening.
The event will finish at 9.30pm, giving guests ample opportunity to further browse the shop following the talk.
Places are strictly limited to members of Moorcroft Collectors’ Club
Should you wish to become a member there is a current offer of a 50% discount, allowing membership for only £15. (usual annual joining fee £30.) One of the benefits of membership is a 10% discount on purchases, including pieces in the 15 Year Anniversary Collection.
